Irish By Proxy “Irish”, is a spirited Oldenburg, often described as a “German Thoroughbred” due to his lean conformation and extreme endurance and love for galloping.  Over the years, after extensive XC training, Irish became an amazing fox-hunter with two Midwest regional hunts.  It has been well documented that Irish has never left the hunt field before the huntsman and staff, regardless of the miles covered and timespan of the hunt. Irish’s endurance is unprecedented and his athleticism is abundant.  Irish has several good years left in him and he is truly a horse that loves and needs a job.  He is docile in nature, but has a very busy brain and thrives under working up to five or six days weekly in season.
